Well that's strange because when I complained about a barrister failing to properly investigate a complaint and signpost, the LeO told me that it wasn't a "good use of its time" to even investigate the matter (§25 and §26; https://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Admin/2024/2818.html). But before you hit the thumbs down, consider this. You, as an industry, spend £20 million to fund the LeO. It currently raises less than 1 million in case fees (so much for the polluter pays principle) and provides somewhere in the region of 2 million in redress to consumers. It increasingly investigates less (§42-44) which the LeO has never attributed to any factor and certainly not the suggestion of HHJ Belcher that "there has been a significant rise in complaints with no merit or in complaints raising points that do not merit investigation (§43). You're being played and the consumer is being played.
