Quite, Peter, at 1/12/13 00.01 and clearly you too are being kept awake by the future, if it has one , of this once noble profession. And no doubt her solicitors were required to spend, sorry waste, even more chargeable hours preparing and keeping up to date costs schedules and filing them at least seven days before judges who probably never ever read them for the benefit of a husband who will certainly never ever pay them. And then to be told off for doing, and charging for, all this extra work which they would be told off for if it had not been done by the CofA which would otherwise have disallowed her lawyers' fees which would then have lead to a claim in breach of contract or negligence, or both, against them!

And then he goes and makes an order that the husband pay £20m from funds the judge admits he doesn't know for sure exist and can't obviously be bothered to make the necessary order to find out. Bang him up until he tells you where it has all gone, myLud, is all it takes, for God's sake! Do YOUR job for once and stop criticising us for doing ours!

Lunatics and asylums? If only this sort of idiocy were broadcast in Romania and Bulgaria they might think twice about the benefits of coming here.

Now where did I put my passport.....
