the core problem with any form of systemic review by the Judiciary (for the Judiciary...) is that it looks at the issue from the 'wrong end' of the telescope - in other words it looks back and argues hindsight. it would be 'nice' if the participants in the system could actually decide whether a given Judge had performed sufficiently well as to be entitled to receive his/her salary and pension. and while I feel a rant coming on, why aren't we allowed to have access to court staff by telephone and why do they change their numbers when you are permitted to have one?soon there will be little point in having a system of justice by litigation ... and therein is probably the point...
