Sharia law (and indeed that of many other religions) is sexist to the core. 60% of new solicitors are female. Why is our Society giving legitimacy to Sharia?

Also letting your average probate lawyer loose on this is going to mean he or she is sued for negligence so it is lose, lose all round.

Many of us, many women particularly, are appalled.
Same old same old whether Muslim or WASP men, loving misogynist laws which do women down supporting each other from the Gentlemen's clubs of Pall Mall to the Mosques of Birmingham.

Could they not at least start the guidance with - "Whilst many solicitors will know they have a moral duty to seek to discourage sexism in all its forms and as long as you really feel you have the technical skills and understand of Sharia law to write a will we give the following guidance....."
