I suspect half the commentators have either not read, or not understood, the article.

They are emphatically NOT talking about making business compulsory and then making human rights compulsory. In any event, core human rights law knowledge is part of the necessary training for a qualifying law degree (or exemption therefrom).

They are talking about "Business And Human Rights" training - all one phrase. Which is something different.

A person who deos Business And Human Rights training does not learn anything about balance sheets or profit and loss forecasts (as has been suggested by at least two commentators).

Neither would that person learn anything about non-discrimination. Although I pause here to wonder why on earth a prospective employer ought not to be allowed to ask their prospective employee's age. Firstly, one can usually tell someone's age by looking at them. Secondly, their CV will reveal if they have been in employment since 1963 or since 2013. Thirdly, why on earth would you wish to hide your age? Anyway I digress.

What they are talking about indoctrinating new entrants into is the following:-
