What I haven't yet experienced is how the costs implications of this will work out. I am quite nervous about allowing a claim to drop out of the portal (even though it should following the rules because they have to either admit or deny liability within the time scale and if they don't it's out). They will say the CNF was incorrectly completed with missing information.

We could then litigate the thing, win, and be restricted to stage 1 costs by a DJ who buys the argument that our CNF was wrong.

It's something that we need clarity on.
