Dear Law Gazette

I am concerned that in the "old days" such a trial would not have come to court.

The questions about press freedom need to be asked.

And that of the Internet Press.

If there were no Press Freedom we would not be allowed to discuss any issue at all.

And there would be no blogs.

The Judge in the current trial where the final sentence has not been delivered was concerned that views were being expressed.

There needs to be a national moratorium on what now takes place in Courts across the land, especially relevant as we have four nations and the law is not the same in each jurisdiction.

We are living in a "Brave New World" where "old world" values meet new technlogies.

Is it criminal to look up a person on the internet? The answer is yes if you are a juror. But what if you are simply researching issues to find out if such and such is possible? What then? Is that criminal?

It does seem to me that there are many issues surrounding Press Freedom.
