Here we go again.

I don't understand MDU saying society pays for claims that the MDU indemnifies against. Sounds like they want to hang on the coat tails of the RTA insurers.

Maybe they should increase their premiums? Mind you, maybe those they insure would then have to work for an extra 6 months and retire at 60 or whatever.

I like the point about the NHSLA estimate. No facts or figures on that but it does include all future claims - I wonder how much they whacked on for date of knowledge claims - have they just extrapolated forward 15 years worth of claims at £1bn a year? Thankfully for the MDU, if they succeed in getting damages capped for future care the NHS can pick up the tab when the claimant's money runs out... ah.

I wonder how many directorships in MDU/MPS are up for auction?
