Everyone can represent themselves in court but not everyone who goes to court, represented or unrepresented, always gets the decision they want or, sometimes, the "right" decision.

Same for the other professions/trades too. You can do your own plumbing, sparky work or even gas fitting (if you like a gamble). Do your own accounts or you could even extract your own teeth.

For everything you have to pay for, do it yourself. I'm cool with that and I'm cool with people succeeding at it. Cock it up though and you get everything you deserve.
