This is ridiculous has Munby been living under a rock? This is precisely the position most fathers found themselves in when fighting for access. For the last few years the legal profession has soaked up and got fat on funding from the legal aid gravy train to represent mothers making false allegations and defending contact denial. You have reaped what you have sown...

The abolition of legal aid is the best thing to happen in the Family Courts as it has levelled the playing field in private law. However state funded opposition to those now LIP's in care cases is wholly wrong. I say make the local authority pay the costs for both sides itself and force them to produce a plan to keep the family together which they have to properly exhaust first.
