I would love to be able to say yes to your question, but Sadly the reality is that luxury days of getting to see someone down at your local CAB is fast becoming a far distant memory.

In London they have rapidly closed many of the CAB's down and where I live not only have they seen fit to do this, but also they have closed down a very successful 'affordable' Law Centre.

I am yet to come across an LIP who would rather save money and trudge through the countless hours of paperwork often needed to successfully navigate their way through a court case, not less the countless hours spent elsewhere.

And so I have to say I do not believe that the rapid rise in LIP's is on the whole (see what I did there) down to a bunch of LIP's who believe that they know the law better than anybody else, and again not least better than a Lawyer or Solicitor.
