It is unfair to equate us with teachers and doctors because the majority of the public don't pay to get their children educated or their surgeries carried out, so when they're asked to pay for a professional (legal) service they're not expecting it.
As a "no win no fee" lawyer, it's quite interesting to see the reaction of clients for whom you've recovered 5 and 6 figure sums (at no cost or risk to themselves) when you ask them to pay for a will or a trust at the end of the case.
