David I do not believe there was one Tory who opposed the war or questioned its validity. The only people that I recall doing so were a few labour and lib dem MPs.I was strongly advocating a UN resolution and was very disappointed that no Tories seemed to think it was a good idea.I certainly do not defend how Blair operated in relation to the war but I do not believe for one minute that the Tories would have acted differently.
By the way you keep drawing me in to having political arguments when we should be discussing what the Tories are doing insofar as the legal system is concerned.I would hope we are both agreed that they are decimating access to justice for the average person by abolishing the last remnants of legal aid and hiking up cout fees to catastrophic levels whilst failing to address waiting times and persisting with costs budgeting which has created a whole new level of unnecessary costs to multitrack claims etc.
