I wonder if the platform overlooks the rest of the workplace so that she can ensure that no one has the effrontery to sit at the same desk for longer than a few seconds.
Hot desking is the work of the devil. Why can't these management types understand that people like to feel comfortable in their own regular work space, complete with cuddly toys and photos of their kids? Happy employees are generally productive employees.
