On Sunday 7 June at 8.00 p m I was admitted to Friedrichshafen's Kilnnikum. After some tests I was told that without an immediate operation they estimated I had three days to live. Nevertheless they insisted on seeing my passport and EHIC. Then at precisely midnight I was taken into the operating theatre where two surgeons, two anaesthetists and two nurses had been assigned to my case.

Where do people like DPG think the money comes from to treat all and sundry on the NHS? If people like them and Corbyn were left to run the country we should be broke in no time at all. We would be another Greece begging for our survival. Does NO ONE remember Dennis Healey being ordered to appear before the IMF to have austerity terms dictated to him? You can't have what you can't afford! "Neither a borrower nor a lender be".
