I have been advised - and on several occasions it was very necessary advice - go away for half an hour, sit down and re read it. If you're still angry, send a holding response, think overnight (particularly if you suffer from "angry afternoon syndrome") how your communication would look to an ombudsman, before pressing send. The real fault with Mr Barca's emails were that they were simple, pointless abuse, devoid of wit or purpose. Personally I find "We have given your proposition all the consideration it merits.
