So, Anon 9.40, what would be the fate of an assistant who failed to serve on a defendant's solicitor, who had been instructed to accept service to her knowledge, within the four months allowed and it was too late to reissue as she had left it until the eleventh month of the sixth year to issue in the first place and whose clients were then ordered to pay all of the said defendant's costs? The value of the claim was about £120,000.
