People may agree to have differences settled any way they choose (apart from certain things, see R v Brown, colloquially known as "the Spanner case" and Laskey, Jaggard and Brown v. United Kingdom). But there should be (and it may be that there are, if the law were to be tested in context) resort to justice to negate consent obtained by undue influence or duress - and I suggest religious indoctrination) and to overturn verdicts that are contrary to applicable UK law that seeks to protect any class of individuals. How that could be made to work without any effective legal aid is another matter.
