I am really fed up with the way the increase of the small claims limit is constantly put in the same headline as "fraudulent claims" as if they are both the same thing. Even the BBC have been doing this although their reporting if you read the small print has been more balanced. It gives the impression that what this is really about is dealing with fraud when in fact what it is about is taking away individual's basic human rights to sue when they suffer bodily injury caused by a negligent third party - put another way it is a tailgaters' charter!
