It's a bit chilling that if you substituted a country with a rather murky human rights record, the PM's statements don't sound all that out of place. For example:

"President Robert Mugabe today pledged to work with the National Security Council to end what he called the ‘hounding’ of service personnel by lawyers.

In a statement this morning, Mugabe said it was ‘clear there is now an industry trying to profit from spurious claims lodged against our brave soldiers.

The president said the National Security Council has been asked to produce a ‘comprehensive plan’ to stamp out claims against the military, with proposals to speed up the legal residence test and strengthen investigative powers and penalties against lawyers.

He said: ‘Our troops must know this government will protect them from being hounded over claims that are totally without foundation.’"

FAOD I am not suggesting David Cameron is just like Mugabe.
