I dare say that the result of this study will be to point out that the inner city areas (where BME people are over-represented as compared to the nation as a whole) are policed more heavily than suburban or rural areas. Also, more serious crime takes place in these areas especially class A drug dealing where prison sentences are inevitable. If the study delves deeply enough it will also discover that the working are also over-represented in prison as are the poorly educated, unemployed, victims of childhood abuse, etc ,etc
