The purchase of Quindell is still a complete mystery to me. nevertheless feel very sorry for the staff though especially at Silverbeck Rymer ,my alma mater, and a quality firm when I was there 15 years or so ago.. What I can't understand was the number of firms who wanted to join up with S&G. I know some had their own financial issues, but others appeared at least on the outside, as being successful regional practices. I would much rather be a smaller autonomous, independent, regional player than a branch office of a national firm answering to shareholders and financial institutions.
