The profession is not going down the pan - it is adapting and surviving and will do rather well I suspect. Failures there will be and we are just enjoying the car crash that is S&G - it's human nature, but we can still feel sorry for those innocents caught up in it. What is alarming is the regulator allowing such a behemoth to come into existence because now it cannot manage the crisis, which is the truth of it.
