One last word on this. A solicitor/claims management company solicit claims from child abuse survivors. One solicitor has 125 claims for just one care home. The solicitor assures the 'survivor'they have case and will have their day in court untill at some point the 'survivor' is sent a letter suggesting that they might want to make a claim for criminal compensation. Fill in the form and wait for the compo to arrive. The survivor receives 60% the solicitor or claims management company 40 % and a claim for legal aid. Does the survivor have their day in court, usually the reason why they take action in the first place, of course not, they are just quietly dropped. 125 abused kids x 40,000.
