@ 6.53 "spout nonsense without any comeback." What a sensible way of driving down costs. Someone tell Parliament to legislate to prevent the courts holding the qualified lawyers to a higher standard than any other profession. We could then spend less time doing the job properly and charge less (unless, of course, you are profit focussed!). Also, outlaw regulators and professional indemnity insurance too. Put all that in place and create a level playing field to bring down costs. Who cares if the "customers" are exposed to the risks inherent in all unregulated and unprotected businesses, they received a cheaper service so have nothing to complain about. A few bad apples may rip them off, steal their money or property, or pay for services they do not need, or lose more when they should have gained, or not have their position legally protected in the best way possible, etc. Who REALLY cares? Lawyers do!
