There are echoes here of some the themes explored in the film "Minority Report" including the State's use of "psychic technology".

I can see real dangers if the evolution of justice in the digital age, means that the legal system is digitised merely for the sake of it,with evidence no longer being properly tested in a open public forum, but subject to the uncaring dictates of a remote civil service software.
