Why appeal the very outcome and principle that underpinned the vote to Leave ? Answer ( 1 ) Confirmation that few of the politicians really understand what they are doing ( 2 ) If they did understand they would know that Parliament is not sovereign in or outside of the EU n all matters - hence this timely reminder (3 ) What does this episode tell most of the World about the UK Government's capacity to manage Brexit - nothing good that is for sure ! (4 ) Being such a simple issue why has Government not had the wit to return to Parliament asap and get its vote - already answered above - or just stoking the fire for political capital ? (5) I am sure that if Government applied for Legal Aid for the Appeal it would be turned down flat. ( 6 ) Therefore I hope
the Appeal gets struck out as an Abuse of Process with Wasted Costs Order. A complete waste of time and resources again
