Paul Hampton is right.

The Justice Secretary made, I thought, a very good speech when she was sworn in as Lord Chancellor. Now she must stand up and be counted in support of the independence and probity of our judges.

She doesn't have to say that she agrees with them, she probably doesn't. The Supreme Court might not either!

If attempts are made to stop her she should ignore them. She should take her oath of office as seriously as they do. No less will do.
