Are FAA claims to be brought outside the scope of these reforms? A £5,000 small claims limit could see those who don't qualify for a bereavement award and those without dependents, unable to obtain legal advice. It's already difficult enough funding representation at inquest without adding an extra hurdle of zero costs recovery should there be a legitimate action.

The entire consultantion is a massive waste of time. Those in Whitehall have made their decision. Let's just get on with it so we can all find alternative careers.

If this is what our Government is doing to Access to Justice whilst we're still signatories of the ECHR, god help us once it's replaced by a British Bill of Rights which can be amended at a whim to pander to the Euro-sceptic right-wing side of the Conservative Party.

I'm voting Alan Sugar for PM in 2020!
