Anon 16.43 I was an articled clerk at the time, c. 1975, and no such person or body existed. None was in fact needed if you had G G R Hickes as the senior partner in the firm. I was petrified of him as was every other employee, although deep down he was a very nice man who had serious problems of his own to deal with.
