This firm was only founded recently, at a time when there were already mutterings, and not just from insurers, about the costs being incurred in what were comparatively low value claims. It must have seemed to them as it did to many others, including those in Bolton, that this was a rolling bandwagon creating lots of fees for comparatively straightforward repetitive work. As lawyers involved in RTA claims didn't it occur to them to check that the bandwagon onto which they were so keen to leap actually had a MoT certificate, so to speak? Several years ago the claimant lawyers successfully defeated a proposal by the government of the day to raise the small claims limit to £5000.00. How much has been paid out in claimants' solicitors fees since then? This is surely a classic case of chickens coming home to roost.
