What gravy train?

The vast majority of low value personal injury claim are subject to either fixed Portal costs (usually as little as £500) or fixed recoverable costs which range between £550 and probably no more than say around £4K. Are you really suggesting this is a gross amount of money where a claim settles for around £3k?

At the time they were brought in, the insurers felt they were reasonable otherwise the government would have jumped to reduce them further (corruption at its finest). Unfortunately, insurers are greedy organisations and they'd prefer to pay nothing.
