How is the insurance going to work? What we (or rather the judiciary) are talking about is allowing law graduates to practise their advocacy on LIP's before they've had any proper training. Bearing in mind that a lot of it is going to be family work with property involved, the scope for it going wrong is immense. How can a recent law graduate run a case involving pension splitting, the valuation of the husband's business, and allegations that he's stashed money away, without making serious mistakes.

Have any insurers quoted premiums for covering this sort of situation?
