My daughter obtained insurance for her first car via a comparison web-site. She entered lots of information including her age and experience. The quotation she chose listed the compulsory and voluntary excess.

Unfortunately, she had an accident. The insurance company then said she had to pay an additional excess of £195.

Our boiler broke down recently. I know a couple of plumbers but they were too busy to come out. Rather than just risk a card through the door or an internet search we used Checkatrade.

The plumber came round and adjusted the radiators but the boiler stopped working again. When he came back, the plumber admitted he was not qualified to work on boilers.
