I will repeat part of what I said when I commented on the original report:

"It should be a requirement of practice that all fee earners - and I mean all - should have two mentors to whom they can turn when the going gets rough. Failure to provide and failure to use would be independent disciplinary offences. SPs might have to be exempted - but a panel of independent mentors can be imagined and to which they could sign up. The LS used to have a stress consultation system. "

This would institutionalise support.
