Sir Oliver Heald as Justice minister should be more sensitive to these issues, because of his past practice as a practising barrister.

Politically it stings the government to talk about "legal advice deserts", because they do exist, and are still spreading ,and such "desertification" is inconsistent with the Prime Minister's speeches about the country working better for "JAMS" and/or the ordinary men and women of the country.

I am bound to say my confidence about any review being credible has been damaged by the recent justice debate in the Commons over soft tissue reforms, when there were a number of factual inaccuracies contained within the speech by the very sameSir Oliver Heald
