As an occasional very reluctant user of the courts system I am almost always shocked about how utterly inefficient and useless they are. For the service one gets they are very poor value for money and they do seem to be one of the few remaining worst type of old fashioned bureaucracies. Truly something out of the old Soviet Union. They will use any excuse to throw out cases and leave the solicitor to deal with the outraged client. Perhaps the only solution is to remove their privilege and open them up to being sued for the consequences of their mistakes. Maybe then when half their workload are unhappy litigants suing the courts themselves for their medieval third world inefficiencies may we get change
