I was once in a court when Judge Northcote of Shrewsbury described my client's opponent's case as "the worst prepared case he had ever seen". My clients opponent was represented by a solicitor.

In other words we can all find examples of bad workmanship if we look hard enough. The press latches on to one bad example and suggests all who fall within that category as the same. They are not.

I think it is high time that the press were taken to task over this practice, in particular the BBC which should know better...and, dare I say, once did.
