Looks like the reforms are going ahead, like it or not. It is time the claimant lobbies stopped going head to head with the government, fighting and already lost cause in prevent the reforms in their entirety.

Far better now to 'work with' the MoJ on how to make the reforms actually work. Increase in SCT costs to allow for legal advice? Agree to damages tables, but argue for a bit more at each threshold?

If recoverable costs (including DBAs) can be increased to be c£250 per case then maybe, just maybe, access to justice can be protected and the industry won't completely collapse. Albeit there will still be some bloodletting.
