"The government today confirmed it will increase the small claims limit to £5,000 – but only for 'RTA related personal injury' claims."

How can this in any way be morally right? It is wholly 100% indefensible. Personal injuries are personal injuries whether they happen as a result of an RTA or are otherwise caused by someone else's negligence. Fraudulent claims are just that whatever the circumstances in which they are made. This is just 'pragmatism' gone mad!

By the way, can somebody in the know tell me; would a tree branch falling onto the head of a passing cyclist causing him to fall into the path of a passing vehicle, be classified as an RTA or not?
