I'm sorry to say it, but AJA did nothing to assist the cause in real terms. Sending hundreds of tweets a day was simply annoying (on the writer's twitter feed anyway); they failed to get any meaningful press coverage that would have turned the tide (although it was always going to be a losing battle to change perceptions in the media); and their submissions to HMG's consultation were one of the 56% claimant-focused groups that ultimately failed to convince this bent and corrupt government to get out of bed with it's insurer mistress.

The only thing they could possibly do is to apply for judicial review (either solely or in numbers with other claimants/interested parties), but with last JR failing spectacularly following the reforms in 2013 , it would be likely that the fight will be lost.

A terrible day for justice and rights of the citizen.
