I am astonished and disgusted to learn that this country, whose politicians (and population, apparently) maintain that it is a foremost defender and promoter of Human Rights, keeps any child in solitary confinement. It is obviously possible to accommodate them in such a way that they can see, hear and speak to each other without coming into physical contact.
How is it that the media, which I have followed closely for decades, are so uninterested in the matter that this is the first mention I have seen? Maybe Ms James would like to comment.
