Given the very high level recent judicial criticism of the Lord Chancellor, I'd wager that the occupant of that most esteemed high office could well be different in the next Parliament. If so, here is hoping that the important and well thought out elements of the bill relating to the courts, evidence and jurisdiction are retained and the issue of personal injury civil reform (if it is to progress at all) is dealt with properly in a separate bill, upon measured and balanced consideration.....we live in hope. I expect Brexit will come to subsume all of it though.
