Good old South Yorkshire's Police! Many vulnerable children suffered years of sexual attacks as they sympathised with the risks to 'community relations' and of course, battled for 25 years against the truthful facts over 96 football fans crushed to death by their inability to do the job required to manage safety?

With the BBC unable to stop getting simple common sense things so obviously very wrong, there may well be some more mendacious phrases likely to follow such as the hollow, 'lessons have been learnt'.

The 'allegations' are now reported accurately as;

Sir Cliff was smeared by a serial rapist, a blackmailer and even a dodgy 'minister': The real crime, as this dossier reveals, is that (South Yorkshire) police ever took them seriously

Sir Cliff Richard and others such as DJ Paul Gambaccini, were accused, investigated, found to be innocent and eventually exonerated, though not before suffering much more stress and reputational damage many of us could survive.
