Of course law teachers are worried about the SQE... it will expose the uneven and often low standards that have prevailed for far far too long.

They are being "disingenuous" when they claim they just want to uphold standards.

Law teachers quite rationally oppose any change in the status quo, as it disturbs the equilibrium of their lives. I know what I am talking about. I used to teach law.
