Possibly I am naïve, possibly heartless, but when you die your online presence dies with you. However: providers aren't that savvy, and generally it should be possible for a deceased's account to be transferred to someone else, or accessed by someone else, within the firm's algorithims

Obviously it is a good idea to provide means for executors to access the deceased's materials, and this should be standard (and conceptually no different from executors havening access to a safety deposit box).
