I attended this conference - as far as I could tell from the show of hands taken after lunch as one of the few customers of legal services (as a General Counsel). While there were lots of interesting things to hear, there was disappointingly little about the benefit of the use of AI for customers of lawyers. I think use of AI should make legal advice better/quicker/cheaper - probably all three. As customers learn more, that's what we will be demanding from our providers and law firms should be thinking seriously about how they will meet those customer demands.
