It will be interesting to see what the specifics are, or of there are any. As I understand it, from various sources close to the previous government, there were a number of Tory MPs who were uncomfortable with the content reforms in the Prisons and Courts Bill. I wouldn't be surprised to see the tariff dropped but the SCT increase retained. It would be far easier to force through reforms that only require secondary legislation as a minority government. They will not want to risk putting any votes to parliament that they are not sure they can win.

Alas, as a ban on pre-medical offers would require primary legislation so may be another casualty of the snap election chaos.
