Anon at 15.44 - I personally don't have the data you refer to so flippantly. I spoke from a common sense perspective and the experience of someone that has been in the PI business for 13 years. However, you appear to suggest you have insider information confirming that all the Government did to implement such widespread reforms was place reliance on incorrect and incomplete data from one singular source. Since I expect you will be so very objective with your views, please do enlighten us all!

And as for the examples you refer to in the last paragraph of your diatribe, more often than not defendants take an economic and commercial decision to agree matters, knowing well that arguing in the claimant-friendly courts we are ruled by will only lead to more good money being thrown after bad.
