Ahhh the papers. You didn't mention the Daily Mail - an oversight I presume. Those paragons of virtue. Unless they make things up e.g. The Sun and Hillsborough.

The papers and government are spoon fed soundbites and public-friendly statements about fraud and corruption in the PI sector but there is no evidence that this is endemic. It exists of course, just like white collar crime but that's ok isn't it?

Go and watch Dalton's inability to give any information at all to the select committee. Most enlightening. Then consider that despite a huge saving in costs and so on since 2013 that premiums have gone up. So many promises made and so many broken. And a saving of £35 a year on your premium (which will never happen) to remove an essential right to compensation and representation. I wonder how that will be reported?

People say so, so it must be true. Governments and papers have never misled the public.
